From 38806bb5da60973e5b1a7bb1cde83f75953b9fa2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Katharina Fey Date: Tue, 23 Apr 2019 11:21:49 +0200 Subject: Changing license Initially I decided lockchain should be an MIT licensed piece of software to allow a wide range of people and projects to use it. Thinking about it now, I feel that there are enough proprietary solutions for secret storage in the world. Whether that be pure password managers or enterprise-focused distributed secret stores. I don't know what lockchain will be one day or even what it is today, but I do know that I don't want it to become the backend to a proprietary piece of software. Therefore I have decided to relicense it under the GNU General Public License 3.0 or later. --- README.md | 4 ++++ 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+) (limited to 'README.md') diff --git a/README.md b/README.md index 6a76878..781462b 100644 --- a/README.md +++ b/README.md @@ -22,3 +22,7 @@ managers.
